Twenty-one years ago, a simple but profound vision was set into motion in the heart of Chennai: to ensure that no woman feels helpless, no child is deprived of an education, and no senior citizen is left without dignity. Tomorrow, July 12, 2026, the Annai Anbukarangal Women’s Charitable Trust proudly celebrates the 21st Anniversary of Annai Illam (அன்னை இல்லம்), marking over two decades of unwavering compassion and community service.
The Journey of a Thousand Helping Hands
Under the visionary leadership of Founder and Managing Trustee Mrs. C. Savithri, the trust has grown from a humble grassroots initiative into a beacon of hope for thousands across Tamil Nadu. Guided by the twin philosophies of “Annai Bharatham Kappom” (அன்னை பாரதம் காப்போம் – Let us protect our Mother India) and “Anbukarangal Koduppom” (அன்புக்கரங்கள் கொடுப்போம் – Let us extend hands of love), the organization has consistently stepped in where the need is greatest.
From providing daily meals to the hungry and sponsoring the education of orphaned children, to conducting vital medical camps and empowering widows with sustainable skill development, the Trust has proven that real change begins with localized, heartfelt action.
“This 21st anniversary is not just a celebration of our organization’s longevity; it is a celebration of the human spirit. It is a testament to every donor, volunteer, and well-wisher who believed that together, we can transform lives.”
Join Us for the 21st Anniversary Celebration
We cordially invite the public, our esteemed donors, and our dedicated volunteers to join us in commemorating this monumental milestone. The morning will be filled with reflections on our journey, stories of lives touched, and our shared vision for the future of Tamil Nadu’s vulnerable communities.

As we blow out the candles on our 21st year, our eyes are fixed firmly on the horizon. The challenges facing economically weaker families, differently-abled individuals, and abandoned seniors continue to grow, but so does our resolve.
With 100% transparency and a verifiable 80G tax-exempt status, every contribution made to the trust acts as a direct lifeline to the community. As we step into our 22nd year, we ask you to continue standing with us.
Extend your Anbukarangal (hands of love) today. Whether by joining us tomorrow morning in Nammalwarpet, signing up as a volunteer, or making a donation to support our ongoing projects, you are an integral part of this legacy of love.
